The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Royal Moroccan Football Association (FRMF) have a long-standing partnership in various facets of football development, according to Mr. Omar Khyari, advisor to the FRMF president.

In an interview with GNA Sports, Mr. Khyari stated that these accomplishments were a part of a long-term strategy for member cooperation on a global scale.

The astute football administrator claimed that because they consistently collaborated with the GFA on various football initiatives, their relationship with Ghana was among the best on the continent.

“Our FA and Kurt Okraku, the president of the GFA, signed an agreement in several development-related areas two years ago. One of the best relationships on the continent is the one we have with Ghana.”

“You can see the smooth relationship we have with the GFA,” he said. “We have played friendly matches among various national teams, and we have welcomed the youth teams here in Morocco to use our football facilities.” We have also been to Ghana a couple of times.

In addition, Mr. Khyari announced that Morocco would host a GFA member in order to host new friendly matches and to improve the organization with fresh development concepts.

He made this statement while touring Morocco’s national stadiums, which included the $65.4 million Mohammed VI Football Complex and other youth football facilities as part of the country’s 2025 bid for the African Cup of Nations.
