The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Chris Hughton as the head coach of the Black Stars, the country’s senior national team. This follows the resignation of Otto Addo, the previous coach.

The GFA emphasized the significance of continuity in this appointment and the belief that maintaining stability and a sense of familiarity within the team will further the progress made and capitalize on the momentum generated from their World Cup qualification. Hughton’s prior experience as technical advisor and understanding of the team and player dynamics were significant contributors to his selection.

The association is confident in his expertise and experience as crucial in realizing the full potential of the Black Stars.
