Classes for SHS I students begins on February 27. The Form One reporting date is February 20, 2023. For registration and orientation, a week is allotted.

In order for SHS 3 students to attend class continuously from January 2023 to the end of September 2023, when the WASSCE concludes, the calendar will need to be adjusted.

Two (2) of the three (3) year groups in the transitional option must be enrolled in class at any given moment.

Academic Schedule for SHS’s First Semester for 2022–2023

First-Semester Reopening Date for SHS

Students in Form 3 will return to class on January 10, 2023, and remain there through April 5, 2023.
Students in Form 2 will return to class on January 10, 2023, and remain there through February 17, 2023.
Students in Form 1 will return to class on February 20, 2023, and remain there through April 13, 2023.

2022/2023 SHS Semester 2 Academic Calendar

SHS 1st Semester Break

Form 3 students will go on break from 6th April, 2023 to 16th April, 2023

Form 2 students will go on break from 18th February, 2023 to 10th April, 2023

Form 1 students will break go on break from 14th April, 2023 to 8th June, 2023.

Reopening Date for SHS’s Second Semester

Students in Form 3 will return to class on April 17, 2023, and remain there through June 1, 2023.

2nd semester break for SHS

Students in Form 3 will have a break from June 2 through June 8, 2023.

Students in Form 2 will have a break from June 2 to August 13, 2023.

Students in Form 1 will have a break from August 11 to September 17, 2023.
