2023 Transitional Calendar Re-Opening Dates

Note:

  1. Due to the start of the calendar in January 2023, SHS 3 will not be able to take a long break.
  2. This will allow SHS 1 and SHS 2 students to attend classes as well.
  3. This means that the calendar will need to be adjusted so that SHS 3 students can continue to attend class from January 2023 until the end of the WASSCE in September 2023.
  4. In the transitional option, two (2) of the three (3) year groups must be present at all times.
  5. Furthermore, as a result of the Free Senior High School program, the Colleges of Education have seen an increase in school enrollment, necessitating a short-term solution.
  6. Finally, the calendar for 2023 includes a break for teachers.
