GES has launched a recruitment portal for Diploma in Education teachers. 

All graduates with Basic Education degrees are now eligible to apply for jobs through the Ghana Education Service’s recruitment portal.

Guidelines for the Application process

1. After logging into www.gespromotions.gov.gh, click on Buy Voucher Code.
   Choose the Mobile Money Network with which you want to make a payment, for example (MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, Tigo Cash or Airtel Money)
2. Enter your ten (10) digit mobile money number, for example (0123456789)
   Enter your valid email address, for example ([email protected]).
3. Wait for approval after clicking submit.
4. Go to your phone dialling page and dial *170#, then select wallet, My Approvals, your four-digit PIN, and option one (1). (accept approval)
5. Your Voucher Code will be delivered to your inbox via SMS.
   Only the Voucher CODE, e.g. (UXPYTNDMKSGJI)
6. Return to the official GES website, click on the Apply button under GES SHS Recruitment, and then proceed with the next steps. 
7. Fill in your personal information correctly, beginning with your full name as it appears on your Academic Credentials.
8. Fill in the blanks with your age, gender, residential address, contact number, email address, nationality, and languages are spoken.
9. Provide your qualification, which is the Program title that you read at the university, for example (BA, BFA, BSc, or B.Ed)
10. Indicate how many years of teaching experience you have. E.g (1,2,3,4 ) (1,2,3,4 )
11. Please indicate your top three subjects of interest. It should be noted that these preferred subjects must be chosen based on what you studied at your respective tertiary institution. For example, (Geography, Economics, and Social Studies) select this from the dialogue boxes assigned to you. 
12. Describe your non-teaching work experience (If any)
    Select three regions of your choice. For example, 1st = Greater Accra, 2nd = Central, and 3rd = Eastern.
13. If you have completed your National Service, select YES.
    Enter the name of the NSS organization for which you worked. E.g (Odoben Senior High School ) (Odoben Senior High School )
14. Enter the service year (for example, 2022 or 2018/2019).
15. Please enter your NSS NUMBER correctly.
16. If you have registered for the Licensure Exam, select YES/NO. If YES, enter your PIN and login.
17. Provide a list of schools attended in descending order. That is the transition from Tertiary to Basic.
18. Provide the names of the schools, as well as the years you started and finished.
19. Click SUBMIT and wait for a pop-up message that says (Form submitted successfully, your application form is submitted Successfully).
