The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has duly reopened the recruitment portal for application from newly trained teachers who completed the College of Education in for recruitment into service.
“All trained teachers who completed their College of Education in and have also completed their one year compulsory National Service are to visit the GES recruitment portal and send an application to for recruitment”.
According to the Education Service, it will consider applicants who meet the following criteria;
- Completed College of Education in and have no outstanding /referral paper.
- Completed the mandatory one year National Service.
- Applicant must sit and pass the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.
- With readiness to work wherever services are needed.
The Education Service entreats interested applicants are to access the GES recruitment portal at gespromotions.gov.gh to complete the application form with attached with a valid certificate before October 30, 2023.

The GES has indicated that the deadline for submission of application for recruitment is October 30, 2023, it is necessary to fill and complete the form for early recruitment, remember the “early bird catches the worm”
According to GES, it will at later date announce recruitment for other levels, but for now, the recruitment is opened for solely College of Education graduates.
