The Ghana Education Service recently opened their recruitment portal for teachers with a Diploma in Basic Education Certificate, but a few hours after its opening, applicants encountered difficulties with the portal. The management promptly addressed the situation, releasing a statement through their social media channels that they were aware of the issue and their technical team was working to resolve it. The update also noted that there was a temporary suspension of new applicants applying for recruitment.
Qualification for GES Recruitment 2023
Eligible candidates for the teacher recruitment process must possess a completed Diploma in Basic Education and have cleared any pending exams or referrals. Additionally, completion of National Service is a requirement, as is passing the National Teacher Licensure Examination. Lastly, candidates must be willing to serve wherever they may be needed.
How to Apply
To apply for the GES recruitment of teachers with Diploma in Basic Education, follow these steps:
- Access the GES recruitment portal at either https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh or https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh/apply_diploma23.
- On the GES recruitment homepage, you’ll find several menus. Choose the one that says “Application for Recruitment – For Diploma in Basic Education Only.”
- Next, enter your College Index Number and click the submit button
- Fill in all the necessary information on the recruitment form and make sure it is correct.
- Click submit to complete the process.
- Finally, print out your application form and wait for the next phase.
