How to Apply for GES Recruitment

In our previous article, we made mention that, the Ghana education service have opened portal for trainee teachers who have completed the college of education in 2019to apply and take part in the new recruitment process.

In that article, we have listed some of the requirements that one is supposed to meet before applying for the new GES recruitment and how to apply for GES recruitment. Today, we are going to take you through the steps and procedures involved in applying for G.E.S recruitment.

To qualify for recruitment, an applicant must complete the College of Education in 2019 and have no outstanding /referral paper, national service and also pass the Ghana Licensure Teacher Examination (GTLE).

How to apply for GES recruitment as a newly trained teacher (2019)

1. Log onto the GES recruitment portal/website gespromotions.gov.gh
2. On the next page, click on a tab “Recruitment” with text click to apply
3. On the next page click on “click to start filling forms”
4. Enter all the required details correctly and click on proceed when completed, (check that all entered details are correct before you proceed)

How to apply for GES recruitment as a returning applicant (2019)

1. Log onto the GES recruitment portal/website gespromotions.gov.gh
2. On the next page, click on a tab “Recruitment” with text click to apply
3. On the next page enter your application form code in the space provided and click on “View submitted forms or Continue filling forms“

The GES has indicated that the deadline for submission of application for recruitment is October 30, 2020, it is necessary to fill the and complete the form for early recruitment, remember the “early bird catches the worm”
