Ghana Black Stars coach Otto Addo has resigned from his position as coach of the Ghana national team according to the information available.
This decision was taken after Ghana’s 2-0 defeat against Uruguay and the team’s exit from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Black Stars lost to Portugal in the opening game, 3 goals to 2.
In their final group stage matches against Uruguay, the Ghanaians were hoping to see the Black Stars defeat Uruguay to avenge their 2010 FIFA World Cup defeat to Uruguay.
Unfortunately, the Black Stars were once again defeated by Uruguay.
After the defeat, the coach, who could not stand the pressure and humiliation of the Ghanaian people, resigned peacefully.
