BECE 2023 SHS Placement Challenges: What to Do if you encounter any problem.

The 2023 Placement portal went live on February 15, 2023, giving students who took the 2022 BECE access to their placement on the same day. As soon as the CSSPS portal went live, the Ghana Education Service (GES) set up a call centre to assist parents and students with placement issues.

The GES team is committed to ensuring a smooth placement process this year and is dedicated to resolving issues promptly. In line with this, parents and students were invited to the GNAT Hall (Teachers Halls) at Adabraka, where the GES technical team attended to them, and all their issues were resolved by 6 pm on the same day.

The GES continues to encourage all students who have not had their preferred schools or couldn’t self-place themselves to call the helplines for assistance. They also reassure everyone that they are available to listen from 7 am to 9 pm every day and will find solutions to any problem they might encounter.

To further assist parents and students, a social media post from the GES page shared photos of the parents and their wards seated in the hall waiting for their challenges to be addressed by the GES. The post also reminded everyone to observe COVID-19 protocols, and if possible, to stay home and call the GES call center lines.

However, for those who live in Accra and its environs, visiting the hall for help is an option, but it’s advisable to be physically present while observing the necessary COVID-19 protocols.
