The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) cordially invites eligible applicants to apply for the DESOPADEC Bursary Award. It is important to note that only qualified applicants should apply using the outlined steps below.
Please note that the DESOPADEC Bursary Award application is available for 200 level and higher level students. Other qualifications are also specified below. It is important to apply before the closing date, which has not been specified yet.
Qualification Requirement DESOPADEC Bursary Award
To qualify for the DESOPADEC Bursary, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Applicants must be from the DESOPADEC mandate area, which includes Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo, Ika, Isoko or Ndokwa.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in a Nigerian university or polytechnic.

Applicants must be at the 200 level or above in their course of study.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
Please note that only students who are currently enrolled in an accredited institution and at the 200-level or higher are eligible to participate. Kindly take note that students at the 100-level are not permitted to apply for this program.
How to Apply for DESOPADEC Bursary Award
- All Interested candidates who meet the criteria listed above should apply by visiting apply.desopadecbursary.ng
The following documents are required to be uploaded:
- A current passport photograph
- Student ID card
- Letter of admission
- Local government of origin certificate
- Identification certificate
- A letter of identification from the Student Union Chapter President of their ethnic nationality.
