Scholarships for international professionals from the Swedish Institute are now available. Applications are invited from students in eligible developing nations. They must be submitting an application to a Swedish university for a master’s program in one of the recognized fields. This scholarship program typically has full funding.
Describe your scholarship
Only master’s programs beginning in the fall semester are eligible for the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals, which are intended for full-time, one or two-year programs.
Each semester’s first day of classes will see students paying their tuition directly to Swedish universities. During the scholarship period, a monthly stipend is given to cover living expenses.
The scholarship cannot be transferred to another study program other than the master’s program for which it was awarded, nor can the scholarship period be altered or extended past the period for which it was originally awarded.
Eligibility requirements
- You must be a citizen of a nation that is qualified to receive SI scholarships (see official website for list of countries). You are not required to be a resident of the nation at the time of application, though.
- Admission to a Swedish university, completion of the university admissions process, and acceptance into a master’s program by March 30, 2023, are all requirements for admission.
- Master’s degrees: You must be eligible for SI scholarships for the master’s degree you are applying for. Depending on your country of citizenship, we give priority to programs within particular subject areas.
Procedure for Application
In order to be considered for the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals, you must first apply for a master’s program at a Swedish university. Please refer to the link for complete instructions on how to apply (below).
