Release Date for 1UCID's Afroblues Single "Greatest"1UCID, a Ghanaian singer-songwriter based in the United States, has announced the release of his newest single, “Greatest,” which is set to debut on February 24th. The song will be 1UCID’s first release of the year and will display his vocals and remarkable lyricism while introducing audiences to his unique sound, which he calls Afroblues, a combination of Afrobeats with urban blues.

1UCID’s Instagram account shared a snippet of the song, and he stated that he wrote it to inspire his daughter, loved ones, and significant other. Born Kwadwo Bedihene in Accra, Ghana, 1UCID is a Ghanaian-Nigerian singer-songwriter, record producer, and creative. He moved to the United States at the age of nine and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron, Ohio.

In 2021, 1UCID made his production debut with a documentary inspired by Ghanaian theologian Mensa Otabil’s sermon, “A Generational Thinker.” He then entered the music scene the following year with the single “Miss You” and followed it up with “It’s Giving.” 1UCID’s Afrobeats and hip-hop fusion have received recognition, with his singles earning a spot on Pulse Nigeria’s Future Sounds playlist and being cited as one of the artists to watch by PM News.
