Application Criteria for GES Recruitment

Candidates MUST fulfil all of the following conditions:

1. a 2020 completion certificate from one of the 46 public colleges of education,
2. There are no pending tests or referrals.
3. finished the required National Service
4. acquitted oneself of the National Teacher Licensure Examinations
5. Will be prepared to provide services wherever they are needed.

Other criteria for the GES appointment include: 

Birth Certificate Senior High Certificate (WASSCE) Junior High Certificate (BECE) SSNIT Number / TIN NTC Certificate among others. 

How to Apply for G.E.S. Recruitment 2023/2024

To get started with the application, go to www.gespromotion.gov.gh and spend GHC 10.00 from your mobile money balance to purchase a voucher code.

How to Purchase The G.E.S Voucher

1. You will see a variety of alternatives once you enter the G.E.S recruitment platform. The E-voucher Card can be clicked.
2. Choose your mobile money service provider at this time. e.g (MTN Mobile Money, Vodacash, TigoAirtel Money) (MTN Mobile Money, Vodacash, TigoAirtel Money)
3. Here, insert a working email address and your mobile money number.
4. Once you’ve submitted it, wait for approval. 

Your service providers will ask for your consent. Yet occasionally, you’ll have to give the transaction your own approval. To do this, open the phone dialer and call *170# for MTN or *110# for vodacash. Then, pick Wallet, choose My Approvals, and authorize by entering your four-digit PIN.

Now, following a successful transaction, you’ll get an SMS with your Voucher details in it.

Return to the official GES website at this point, select the Apply button under GES Recruiting, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Your Credentials (BA, BFA, BSc, or B.Ed)
3. Your total number of years spent teaching. E.g (1,2,3,4 or 5 ) (1,2,3,4 or 5 )
4. First, Second, and Third Preference Topics.
5. Choose three areas of your choice.
6. Status of National Service (NSS organization you served, Service Year, NSS NUMBER )
7. PIN for a licensing exam.
8. Institution attended, providing the institution’s name, the beginning year, and the completion
9. Verify everything is correct and then click SUBMIT
10. If everything goes according to plan, a pop-up notice with the following text will appear: (Form submitted successfully, your application form is submitted Successfully).

Note that only freshly qualified teachers who satisfy the aforementioned requirements will be shortlisted/posted.
