On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the Ghana Education Service and TVET institutions will release the 2023 SHS Placement.
According to their enrollment form, newly posted students are expected to report to their various schools on February 20th, 2023.
A worrying situation has developed. The majority of stakeholders urged the GES to reschedule the reporting date so that parents and students have enough time to prepare before heading to school.
In an attempt to resolve the issue, the Ghana Education Service management has issued a clarification of the date and timeline specified on the placement form.
According to GES, all SHS 1 students must visit their schools on February 20, 2023, to pick up prospectuses and complete the necessary registrations and orientations. Form One students begin academic work on February 27th.

Beginning on February 20, 2023, Form One students must report to their schools to pick up their prospectuses and complete the required registrations and orientations.
Form One students’ official return to school for academics is on February 27.
In order to ensure a smooth transition into their schools and adequate preparation for school, parents and students have one week to do so.
