Update on the Rumor of Changes On 2023 Academic Calendar by GES
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has addressed the misinformation circulating on social media platforms and news portals about changes made to the 2023 GES Academic calendar.
The management clarified that no changes have been made to the calendar except for the starting and ending dates for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in 2023.
According to the GES, the 2023 BECE is scheduled to start on Monday 7th August 2023 and end on Friday 11th August 2023. The management assures the general public that any information contrary to this is false and should be disregarded.
In an update posted on their social media handle, the GES advises individuals to take note that the 2023 Academic Calendar has not been altered.
The only clarification made is the BECE date which is set for August 7th to 11th, 2023. Thank you for your cooperation.
