Santander International Exchange Grants At Germany the University Of Bonn: Applications are now being accepted at the University Of Bonn, Germany, for Santander International Exchange Grants.

The Santander International Exchange Awards are intended to assist PhD students in expanding their academic networks internationally.

Can anyone apply?

All doctoral candidates are eligible as long as they have not already defended their doctoral thesis.

Money is given to doctoral students from the aforementioned regions to attend the University of Bonn during their research stays of one to three months at a foreign partner university or in a priority nation.

The following services are covered by the funding:

  1. For stays up to 12 months, a round-trip allowance of €1,125 is provided.
  2. A monthly living expense payment of 1,200 euros for stays in Bonn
  3. a monthly stipend for research of € 300 (e.g., for conference costs, language courses, consumables)
  4. benefits for accompanying partners, children, and spouses.

Note that applications must be comprehensible to non-specialists in order to pass an evaluation by an interdisciplinary committee. Family responsibilities, parental leave, illnesses, and other legitimate time off are taken into account. Please describe any potential delays with your application.

Within a year of the call deadline, the research stay must start. The initiation of the research that is still being applied for cannot occur before the call date, nor can funding be approved retroactively.
