General Eligibility for Swansea Postgraduate Scholarship
- This scholarship is available only to new postgraduate taught applicants who are UK/EU students.
- The scholarship will be used to offset tuition fees.
- Applicants should hold a minimum of a 2.1 degree at the undergraduate level (or equivalent).
- Applicants must be enrolling in a postgraduate course at the College for the first time in September 2020.
- The outcome of the application will be communicated by the end of July, and successful applicants must confirm acceptance of the scholarship.
- Scholarship holders are expected to actively participate in the College’s recruitment activities.
- In the event of a scholarship holder needing to suspend their studies, the scholarship will be held and carried forward to the year of resumption, with the candidate responsible for paying their personal contribution on a pro-rata basis.
- Unsatisfactory progress or failure to comply with the conditions of the scholarship may result in its withdrawal. In such cases, the scholarship holder may be required to repay the award, either in part or in full, as determined by the College. If the scholarship holder believes the withdrawal is unjustified, they may appeal in writing to the Head of College within 15 working days of notification.
- The College of Science reserves the right to amend, withdraw, suspend, or cancel these regulations without notice, and its decisions shall be final.
