NSS postings for newly trained teachers

The Ghana National Service Scheme (GNSS) administration has released a total of twenty-eight thousand nine hundred and seventy-six (28976) Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for the registration of newly trained teachers from all accredited teacher training colleges in the country commencing compulsory national service for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Prospective National Service Officers are required to visit the program website www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN codes along with their index numbers and date of birth and proceed to any branch of ADB Bank Ltd. Across the country to make a payment of GHC 40.00 or GHC 41.00 using MTN Mobile money to activate the registration process.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR NSS 2023/2024

This is how to register NSS:

  1. Visit the official website of NSS in your country.
  2. Look for the “Registration” or “Join NSS” link on the homepage.
  3. Fill out the registration form with your personal information, such as your name, contact details, and educational qualifications.
  4. Submit the form along with any required documents, such as a copy of your ID or passport.
  5. Wait for your registration to be processed and approved.
  6. Once your registration is approved, you will receive further instructions on how to participate in NSS activities.

How to resgister for NSS on mobile 2023/2024

1. Dial *170#
2. Choose Option 2 “Pay Bill”
3. Choose General Payments (Option 6)
4. Enter Payment code as – NSS PINCODE (type NSS, put a space, then type your PINCODE). The menu will return to your name for confirmation.
5. Enter the deposit amount (GH¢41.00).
6. Enter the NSS reference
7. Enter PIN to confirm payment
8. You will receive a message to confirm the transaction.

6. Proceed to the Regional Office of the NSS

7. Be alert to give an oral explanation of your ordeal when the need be

After all, you should deliver your letter to the NSS Regional Office where it was originally addressed. You could also go to the NSS headquarters in Accra, which is located relatively close to the airport. This would allow you to quickly repost.
