What do you need for NSS Registration?
- Try and get the GHC 40 to be used for the NSS registration.
- Get just one of the following Valid IDs: GHANA CARD OR SSNIT card OR NEW Voter ID card.
Get a SOFT COPY passport photograph that is not more than 1 megabyte with a dimension of 150*200 pixels. You are advised to be in A FORMAL ATTIRE
- It is the same passport picture that will appear on your NSS CERTIFICATE when you finish your service.
A passport photo with white or red background is preferable.
- When NSS releases the Pin codes, you will use your index number & date of birth to check it. Make sure you remember the right date of birth you presented to your school during Admission.
How do I get my NSS Pincode?
To do that go to portal.nss.gov.gh/check-pin. Or go to portal.nss.gov.gh and click on the “Check And Pay For Pincode” Button. Enter your index number and your date of birth in the provided fields and click the “Search” button to generate your pin.
When will NSS begin for newly trained teachers?
National Service for newly trained teachers will begin officially in early January 2023.
