Following the release of 111,613 pin codes for posting of newly trained teachers by the Management of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS), we’ve received several queries from anonymous persons on how they can check and activate their NSS pin codes.
In response to the queries, we have put together a comprehensive guide to help everybody facing challenges in checking or activating the pin codes.
How to check and activate NSS pin codes
1. Visit the official portal https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-pin and enter your Index Number/Student ID number and Date of Birth in the space provided and “SEARCH”
2. After the “Search” is completed, a biodata of your pin code, full name, instruction, Course of study and year of enrollment will be given. kindly copy the pin code for you’ll use it later

3. The next thing is to use the pin code you copied in “step 2” as a citation in payment for its activation.
4. We recommend you to use MTN Mobile Money or Agricultural Development Bank.

Key Notes on Payment: To pay for your pin code through mobile money, follow the instructions on the payment page after your pin is displayed, please be informed that any payment done through mobile money not equal to GHS41.00 will be reversed
