Qualified male and female candidates are invited to apply for admission into the Basic Nursing Programme at the Edo State College of Nursing Sciences (EDOCONS), located at KM 6 Sapele Road, by Godwin Abbe Road, Benin City.
Duration of Study
The Basic General Nursing programme has a study period of three (3) years, and admission does not require JAMB UTME. The application process begins on February 1st, 2023.
Entry Requirements for EDOCONS Basic Nursing Programme
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess WAEC/NECO (O’Level) or NABTEB with a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
- No awaiting result is allowed.
- Must be seventeen (17) years old at the time of admission.
How to Apply for EDOCONS Basic Nursing Form for the 4th Cohort
To apply for the EDOCONS Basic Nursing Programme, follow these steps:
- Visit the Edo State College of Nursing Sciences Portal.
- Click on “Application,” then select “Admission Screening Exercise 2023.”
- Click on “Register for application” to begin the application process.
- Complete the registration form.
- Take note of your email and password, as you will need them to log in and complete your application.
- The application fee is N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) payable to the college, and N200.00 (Two Hundred Naira only) payable to the Nursing and Midwifery Committee, Edo State.
- Applicants must have a functional email address and phone number for future communication and should keep their login details to check the result.
EDOCONS Basic Nursing 4th Batch Entrance Examination Date and Venue
- Date of Examination: March 30th & 31st, 2023.
- Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Venue: Edo CNS Computer Lab
- Only applicants with valid government identification and payment receipt will be allowed into the CBT Examination Centre.
