All about Prince Of Peace Girls Senior High School

By | 11 February 2023

In October 1982, the then Metropolitan Arch Bishop of the Catholic Church of Kumasi, Most Rev. Dr Peter Kwasi Sarpong, established Prince of Peace Girls Senior High School. The school’s initial headmistress was Rev. Sr. Erlinda Macatol.

The School’s original purpose was to educate Catholic nuns and sisters who would continue the church’s evangelistic work.

Later, the Bishop decided it was worthwhile to increase enrollment in order to accommodate healthy young girls who had passed the local public secondary schools’ limited admission requirements despite having passed the Common Entrance Examination at the time.

VISION OF THE SCHOOL

The goal is to develop each girl’s potential by offering a comprehensive education that prepares her for the competitive world she will face after graduation.
