A nonprofit organization called LEAP Africa is dedicated to developing energetic, creative, and moral leaders who will promote change in Africa.
They offer pertinent and customized interventions that facilitate successful youth transitions for young Africans in the areas of education, entrepreneurship & employability, civic participation, and social mobility.
For their Programs, eLearning/Digital, and Communications Divisions, LEAP Africa is seeking interns. With the primary goal of empowering young people to live productive lives, lead morally, and inspire them to bring about positive change in their communities through either supporting community development initiatives or establishing sustainable social enterprises, LEAP Africa offers cutting-edge leadership and work-readiness programs.
Generally Requirements for the Graduate Internship Program for LEAP Africa
Available only to Youth Corps volunteers stationed in Lagos State, Nigeria
Programs Intern – The applicant must have the following abilities and be able to demonstrate them:
- intelligent and well-spoken
- Excellent project management abilities – Interest in and expertise with event organizing, research curriculum creation, and program management
- G Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) proficiency
- Extremely good written and verbal communication skills
- Digital/eLearning Intern Intern – The candidate must be
- experience with digital services
- knowledgeable about technology and capable of utilizing it to provide novel services and goods
- a desire to develop online learning experiences
- Possessing strong conceptual and writing abilities
- proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and the G-Suite
- Candidates for the position of communications intern must have the following abilities.
- excellent writing abilities OR expertise in IT and web design
- using social media
