Department: Water & Sanitation Branch: Infrastructure Management: Central Operation Salary: R125,373 per annum (Level 02) Location: NWRI Central Operations – Usutu River (Vygeboom)
Requirements
We are looking for individuals with the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in handling equipment and appliances.
- Experience in various general tasks such as lawn care, pruning, trimming, and diluting/mixing chemicals.
- Ability to perform daily maintenance to ensure efficient machine and equipment performance.
- Knowledge of water utilization and resource strategy, along with an understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with garden maintenance and planting practices as well as awareness of government legislation.
Duties
As a General Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading furniture, equipment, or any other goods to the relevant destination.
- Cleaning government vehicles and maintaining their cleanliness.
- Keeping the workstation tidy and organized.
