History of Ankaful Psychiatric Nursing Training College

Ankaful Psychiatric Nursing Training College (PNTC) is a public tertiary health institution located in Ankaful, Central Region, Ghana. The college is affiliated with the University of Cape Coast and specializes in the training of psychiatric nurses.

PNTC was established in 1975 as a result of the efforts of the Ghana Psychiatric Association and the Ministry of Health. The college was initially located at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, but it was moved to its current location in Ankaful in 1977.
