Outstanding young persons pursuing postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford are invited to apply for the Oxford Rhodes Scholarships in the UK.

The Oxford Rhodes Scholarship in the UK is the oldest and possibly most prestigious international scholarship program, enabling exceptional young people from all over the world to study at the University of Oxford. The first Rhodes Scholarship was awarded in 1902.

With the first and second-year retreats, workshops, and conferences, as well as social and discussion events, held at Rhodes House, the Scholar Programme in Oxford seeks to strengthen these Rhodes Scholar qualities, as Selection Committees select on the basis of character, leadership, and commitment to service in addition to intelligence. There are numerous organized groups for scholars.
Almost 4,500 people are active members of the Rhodes Scholars fellowship, which spans generations throughout the globe.
As a result, Rhodes Scholars begin a lifelong fellowship with numerous opportunities to interact with Senior and Current Scholars. In addition, they join a welcoming community where they often make lifelong friends.
Opportunities are made available to Scholars through the Rhodes Scholarship before, after, and during their stay at Oxford.
Award Benefits
The Rhodes Scholarship, which initially lasts for two years, includes both tuition reimbursement for Oxford University (and College) as well as an annual stipend. The stipend will be £17,310 annually (£1,442.50 per month) for the academic year 2021/22, from which Scholars must pay all living expenses.

The following four factors determine who is chosen as a Rhodes Scholar:
- academic and literary accomplishments (academic excellence)
- drive to fully utilize one’s talents (as demonstrated by mastery in areas such as sports, music, debate, dance, theatre, and artistic pursuits, particularly where teamwork is involved)
- honesty, valor, fidelity to duty, compassion for the defense of the helpless, benevolence, selflessness, and camaraderie.
- The moral strength of character, leadership instincts, and a concern for other people.
Citizenship and residence requirements for the Rhodes Circle.
- They come from nations that qualify for the specific Rhodes Scholarship constituency.
- They must have earned a bachelor’s degree with honors and be in excellent academic standing.
- By October of the year of application, they are between the ages of 18 and 28.
- satisfy the language requirement in English.
