Applications are open for the TechGirls Program 2023. TechGirls is an international summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire young women from around the world to pursue careers in science and technology.
TechGirls connects and supports the next generation of leading women in science, technology, engineering, and math by providing them with access and opportunities to upskill and pursue their dreams.

TechGirls is packed with skill-building workshops and interactions with America’s most innovative tech professionals, as well as 40 hours of hands-on learning at Tech Camp with our partner, The Center Enhancing Engineering Diversity at Virginia Tech. experience, enhances participants’ ability to enter technology fields and encourages them to pursue higher education in underrepresented women’s fields.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the TechGirls 2023 Program, applicants must meet the stipulated requirements:
They are citizens of one of the eligible countries/territories and live in that country/territory at the time of the exchange. Be between the ages of 15 and 17 at the start of the exchange on July 8, 2023 (born on or between July 9, 2023). 2005 and July 8, 2008); have demonstrated advanced skills and a keen interest in science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics in their academic studies; intends to pursue higher education and/or STEM careers, particularly technology; English language skills (upper intermediate English skills); Demonstrate maturity, flexibility and an open mind; You will attend at least one additional semester of high school upon your return to your home country; He agreed to complete a community project upon his return. the house; and meet the eligibility requirements for a US J-1 visa (ie, US citizens are not eligible for a J-1 visa). Eligible candidates must be citizens and current residents of participating countries. Third country nationals who are permanent residents of an eligible country should contact us to determine eligibility before applying. Preference will be given to those with little or no prior experience in the United States.
