About FATE Scholar Programme for young Nigerians

The FATE Scholar Programme (FSP) is an initiative of FATE Giving, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources for innovative and entrepreneurial students. The program aims to assist students who are seeking admission to pursue a degree in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) course in any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria for the current academic year. The FSP provides financial aid, mentorship, and internship opportunities to selected scholars.

The FATE Scholar Programme (FSP) will provide assistance to outstanding, high-achieving, and prospective entrepreneurs through the following:

The FSP will provide support to eligible candidates for a minimum of four years during their undergraduate studies in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) field at any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Requirements for FATE Scholar Programme Eligibility

Applicants are expected to satisfy the following conditions to be considered eligible for the FATE Scholar Programme:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Should be an exceptional student.
  • Must be below 21 years old at the time of application.
  • Must be planning to study any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) undergraduate degree course in an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Process to Apply

The FATE Scholar Programme’s application process comprises six stages as follows:

  • Prospective applicants are required to apply for the program through https://soar.fatefoundation.org/auth/signup.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
  • Successful candidates will proceed to the second stage of the application process.
  • Selected applicants will receive further communication.
  • Successful candidates will undergo the final stage of the application process.
  • In August, successful applicants will be notified and announced.

The deadline for application is 17th March.
