Program for Visiting Researchers at EuroTech

Postdoctoral researchers in science and technology from around the world are encouraged to apply to the Program for Visiting Researchers at EuroTech if they are looking for committed collaborators to help them advance their projects in high-tech focus areas and promote change.

Under the program, participants will receive funding to travel to Europe. Up until the deadline, interested parties may submit applications.

Program Specifics

The EuroTech Universities Alliance is a strategic alliance of top European scientific and technology universities working together to create a strong, sustainable, independent, and resilient Europe. The partners provide their superior research and teaching abilities, active participation in thriving eco-systems, and societal contribution.

The partners aim to a new level of bringing together their new inclusive, varied, and sustainable campuses based on the Eurotech ideals. For international leaders in research, entrepreneurship, industry, and society, the EuroTech Universities provide a distinctive environment.

Program Advantages

To foster greater collaboration among academics at its partner universities, the EuroTech Postdoc Program supports research stays of one to four weeks.

Level and Subjects Studied

Professional researchers in science and technology are eligible for the offer.

Location of Research

The research program will be conducted in Europe at a few chosen institutions.

In order to be considered for the EuroTech Visiting Research Program, you must:

1. Wishing to go to one of the following colleges:

  • Danish Technological University (DTU)
  • The EPFL is the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
  • L’X of the École Polytechnique
  • Israel Institute of Technology (Technion)
  • Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e)
  • Munich Technical University (TUM)

2. A professor at any level or a postdoc (the postdoctoral degree must have been awarded at the time of application);

3. Want to find a straightforward approach to pay for a trip to a partner university. Up to €1,000 can be allocated for one week at a partner university, which can be used for things like travel and lodging. You can apply for one- to four-week trips.

How to Apply

Fill out an application form for the EuroTech Postdoc Program and return it, together with a letter of support from your host institution, to your regional EuroTech Operations Board member.

Applications aiming to start a new partnership within one of EuroTech’s Priority Areas—Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Additive Manufacturing, AI for Engineering Systems, Health & Bioengineering, or Sustainable Society—will be given priority in evaluation by the host university.

Also, applications that involve collaboration with multiple partner universities—for instance, two researchers visiting a third partner university—are given a higher ranking.
