We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Finance and Accounting Intern/Co-op, which we are currently recruiting for. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in the finance and accounting department. The role will be based in Lagos and will be a full-time position. Duties and Responsibilities for the Available Position
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing our major competitors to refine business strategies for our products. You will also work on new product launches and initiatives, co-assessing the financial impacts with the brand management and sales team. Additionally, you will guide your multi-functional partners through financially optimized plans to ensure their success.
As part of your job responsibilities, you will explore business opportunities within new channels such as E-commerce and discounters. This will involve identifying potential partnerships and developing strategies to expand our reach in these markets.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for improving the cost competitiveness of our manufacturing activities. This may involve analyzing our production processes to identify areas for optimization, negotiating with suppliers to lower costs, and implementing cost-saving measures across the organization.
Requirement for Qualification
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field in Finance and Accounting.
- A keen interest in Finance and strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic analytical thinking abilities Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse organizations and teams.
- Proficiency in English language and proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Candidates must be available for at least 6 months before their NYSC start date to participate in the Internship program.
