List of Selected Applicants for the MTN Scholarship
The Youth Development Cause’s MTN Scholarship program attempts to identify and honor deserving, high-achieving students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions each year.
MTN Technology and Science
Scholarship, which is now in its 12th year, is available to qualified 300-level students enrolled in Nigerian public tertiary institutions who are majoring in science and technology (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
If they retain the necessary grades, 300 successful students will get scholarships worth N200,000.00 per year till graduation.
MTN Blind Scholarship
Students in its tenth year are eligible blind students enrolled in any subject at Nigerian public tertiary institutions at the 200-level (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
If they retain the necessary grades, 60 successful blind students will receive scholarships worth N200,000.00 per year till graduation.
UTME’s top 10
Scholarship, the most recent addition to the MTN Scholarships, began in 2023. The top 10 UTME scorers, as reported by JAMB, are automatically eligible for the top 10 UTME scholarships each year.
If the chosen candidates maintain the required grades from their 100 level until graduation, they would get scholarships totaling N200,000.00.
The Top 10 UTME Scholarship is given out regardless of the successful individuals’ chosen academic field or Nigerian tertiary institution (public or private).
It is noteworthy that 4,212 students have received scholarships totaling over N3 billion from the MTN Foundation since its founding.
Each scholar participates in the MTNF Skill Up Training after graduation to make sure they are prepared to compete and create value to Nigeria’s labor market.
Also, they learn about other chances for training and certification, such PMI (Project Management Institute). They receive information about job prospects and other matters crucial to their careers as members of the Alumni chat group.
