Kojo Bonsu and New NDC Executives Visit National Mosque for Thanksgiving as Part of Presidential Bid.

Kojo Bonsu, a Flagbearer hopeful for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), joined the newly elected National Executives at the National Mosque for thanksgiving today.

As you may recall, the NDC had a successful National election last month where delegates voted for their preferred candidates for the various positions.

Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia and General Secretary Fiifi Kwetey led the National Executive members who were present at the mosque.

In his address, General Secretary Fiifi Kwetey stated that their visit is primarily to express gratitude to Allah for guiding them before, during, and after the National elections.

Chairman Asiedu Nketia acknowledged that before the National elections began, the NDC asked for Allah’s blessings and guidance throughout the party’s activities. He expressed gratitude for the successful execution of all activities and emphasized the need for continuous prayers as they prepare for other activities ahead of the general elections to claim power from the sitting government [New Patriotic Party].

On behalf of former President John Mahama and the Council of Elders of the party, Mr Nketia thanked everyone in attendance and donated ¢5,000 to the National Chief Imam and other chiefs and elders of the mosque.

In an interview with the media, Kojo Bonsu expressed his belief that it is good to thank Allah for a very successful event and that the party has done the right thing. He also asked that Allah grants him success in the upcoming NDC Presidential elections and his plans for the party and Ghana
