Regarding the completion of the new Z83 form:

  • Section A and B must be fully completed.
  • Part C, which pertains to communication and contact details, must be filled out completely.
  • Two questions in Section F related to reappointment limitations must be answered thoroughly.
  • Page 1 should be initialed. Candidates who fail to comply with the above instructions will be disqualified.

In order to streamline the recruitment process and prioritize public safety during the pandemic by avoiding overcrowding, the following measures have been implemented:

  • Applicants are no longer required to submit copies of qualifications and other relevant documents during the application process. Only the completed Z83 form and a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) should be submitted.
  • The HR department will communicate with shortlisted candidates regarding the submission of certified documents.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified documents on or before the day of the interview.

Please note that the certification process confirms that the document is a true copy of the original provided. It does not validate the authenticity of the original document, which occurs during the verification process.

Regulation 67 (9) requires the verifying authority to ensure the accuracy of the claims made by the candidate. This aligns with Regulation (57) (c), which mandates the completion of Personnel Suitability Checks to verify claims and assess the candidate’s suitability for employment. Applications that do not comply with these requirements will be disqualified. If you do not receive any communication from us within the next few months, please consider your application unsuccessful.

Note: It is the responsibility of all candidates to have their foreign and other qualifications evaluated by SAQA. Recognition of prior learning will only be considered upon submission of proof by the candidates. Please be aware that appointment is subject to qualification verification and a security clearance. Faxed or late applications will NOT be accepted.

Shortlisted candidates must be willing to undergo regular vetting and verification processes. If you do not receive any communication from us within the next three months, please consider your application unsuccessful.

  1. Senior Forensic Investigator: Governance, Risk and Compliance Branch Ref No: 2023/03 (X5 POSTS) – The correct number of posts is three (3).
  2. Process Controller: Water Purification and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Ref No: 2023/15 (X2 posts) Centre: Kimberley Regional Office – The correct requirements are Grade 12 (or NTC III) plus either an Operator’s Certificate, Water Treatment Practice N3, Wastewater Treatment Practice N3, or the Core Unit Standard from the appropriate NQF 4 Qualification. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Please be aware that the closing date for the Process Controller: Water Purification and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Ref No: 2023/15 (X2 Posts) is still pending.
