The West African Examination Council has started an investigation into several schools’ and students’ 2022 WASSCE results.
Candidates who participated in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2022 but whose results were withheld owing to suspicions of involvement in examination irregularities were invited to the WAEC Regional Offices where they took the test.
The purpose of the invitation was to help the Council wrap up its inquiries into the alleged anomalies. Applicants who didn’t show up at the regional office for the investigation will be disqualified when the results are finally decided.
The names of all the students whose results were withheld in full or simply on a few papers are included below, along with a complete list of all the schools.
