Black Galaxies Triumph over Egypt U-20 in Pre-CHAN 2023 Friendly Match

The Black Galaxies have clinched a comfortable 2-0 victory over Egypt U-20 in an international friendly match held at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday, December 27. Kofi Kordzi and Sylvester Simba scored in the 15th and 57th minute respectively, securing a well-deserved win for the Black Galaxies in a match played behind closed doors.

The Black Galaxies started the game on the front foot, and their early dominance paid off when Kordzi opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a close-range finish. In the second half, the Black Galaxies continued their relentless attack and extended their lead through Simba’s curling strike from inside the box.

Coach Annor Walker made some changes to the team’s lineup, with Razak Kassim, Benjamin Abaidoo, Augustine Boakye, Jonah Atuuquaye, and Kwame Otu replacing Gladson Awako, Augustine Randolph, Dennis Korsah, Sylvester Simba, and Kofi Kordzi, respectively. Solomon Adomako also came on for Henry Ansu in the 75th minute.
