In collaboration with the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches, the Late Otumfo Sir Osei Agyemang Prempeh II, the then Asantehene, founded Prempeh College in 1949.
The school’s first headmaster was Rev. S. N. Pearson. In Kumasi, the School is close to the Softline Interchange.

Prempeh College was founded to serve as the go-to educational facility for Ghana’s middle and northern regions.

To provide dedicated service and the necessary resources to improve teaching and learning, guarantee student adherence to school policies and procedures, and shape students’ character in order to realize the College’s goal.
