Dr. J. D. Vorvoon established St. Michael Technical Vocational Institute in 1992. Its original name was Alhassan Frafra Foundation, which was later changed to St. Michael’s Adult Education
The name changed recently to St. Michael’s Catholic Vocational Institute, until it was absorbed into the Public system by the Government in 2023 and given the name St. Michael’s Technical Vocational Institute.
