Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship 2023/2024 Programme Available

This notice is to inform the general public that the Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications for interested candidates seeking to study abroad. The application process can be completed online through the official Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship website.

All interested applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the requirements and steps of the Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship Program before beginning the online registration. The scholarship is based on the Young African Scholarship Award and is open to all African students. The qualifications and requirements for the scholarship are listed below.

Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship General Eligibility

The general eligibility for the Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship Programme are candidate or students:

1. Currently attending a degree-granting institution located in Africa.
2. For M.Sc., M.Phil., or Ph.D. degrees, who are currently enrolled in a program of graduate study as of the application deadline. Applicants who have already completed their degrees are ineligible.
3. in the disciplines of soil and plant sciences (including agronomy, horticulture, ecology, soil fertility, soil chemistry, crop physiology, environmental science, and other areas related to crop nutrition) are encouraged to apply.
4. Past winners of the Award are not eligible.

Benefit for Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship 2023

1. Award of USD $2,000 each to ten deserving African graduate students in sciences relevant to plant nutrition and management of crop nutrients.
2. No specific duties will be required of the recipient. Award will be made directly to the student.
3. Lastly,  award will be granted independent of any assistant ship, scholarship, or other award that the student currently holds.

Africa Plant Nutrition Scholarship 2023 Programme Requirements for Application

Here are what all applicant are to come with;

1. Electronic copy of transcripts of all university work, including cumulative and final grade records (GPA or percentile).
2. Electronic copy of two letters of support, one of which should be from the major professor. Letters must be signed and written on official letterhead and must include the phone number and e-mail address of the letter writer.
3. A description of the focus of your thesis or dissertation research presented in a manner that will permit evaluation of its originality, depth, and scope, innovative approaches, and relevance.
4. A brief description of any additional information that may be relevant to the award (such as honours or awards you have received, employment history, career goals, and other activities you pursue).
5. You will be required to upload documents during the online application process. It is recommended that electronic (.PDF) copies of these documents be prepared in advance.

3. Afterward, fill in; Name of Employer, Employer Address, Street Address, Street Address Line 2City,State / Province, Postal / Zip Code, Country
4. The third stage is to upload your Resume or CV. letter of support, Discription of fellowship proposal, Applicant E-Signature.
5. Finally, Click Submit
