UNIZIK Student Arrested for Kidnapping His Best Friend Days after Flaunting Money Online
Ndome Godsent Ogar, a 400-level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has been apprehended for allegedly orchestrating the abduction of his close friend.
The Anambra State Police Command issued a statement on Tuesday announcing the arrest of the suspect, who is a medical student. Ndome Godsent Ogar reportedly collaborated with several individuals to kidnap his friend, who is a 300-level medical laboratory student.
In a video circulating online, Ndome Godsent Ogar can be seen being questioned about his involvement in the crime. He confessed that his gang demanded a ransom of N4million, which was paid.
The suspect is also said to have abducted a primary one pupil in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi and was paid N700k as ransom before the child was released. This incident occurred days after he made headlines on social media for flaunting money in a hotel room and discussing his plans for a night of enjoyment.
