Physical science is the study of the inorganic cosmos. It does not research living creatures, as opposed to life science. It is further subdivided into multiple sections, each of which is referred to as a “physical science,” and which are referred to collectively as the “physical sciences.”

The four primary branches of physical sciences are astronomy, physics, chemistry, and Earth sciences, which encompass meteorology and geology.

This broad degree will appeal to anyone looking to graduate from university with a science degree and will prepare you for a career in a science-based industry.

The physical sciences degree meets this need by allowing you to study a variety of physical science courses such as physics, chemistry, geology, biology, and so on.

The degree structure is similar to that of a standard Physics degree; however, the flexibility allows for a mix of courses with no required Mathematics courses.

Many students who are interested in this field but are put off by the mathematical components will find this appealing.

University of Ghana Bachelor of Physical Sciences Requirements

Candidates applying for Physical Sciences must have credits in mathematics, integrated science, English, and three elective disciplines; Elective Math, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

Physical Science is a course that attracts a large number of applicants each year, making the admissions process extremely competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements would not guarantee our admission.

University of Ghana Bachelor of Physical Science Cut-off Point 

The aggregate cut-off mark for candidates interested in studying physical science at the University of Ghana is 15. The University of Ghana has a demanding BSc Mathematics program. Due to the large number of applicants, meeting the entry criterion does not guarantee admission.

Is D7 to F9 accepted to study Physical Sciences at the University of Ghana?

The following grades are not accepted for admission to the University of Ghana: D7, E8, and F9. Before applying for a BSc in mathematical science at the University of Ghana, applicants should be aware of the entry requirements and the cut-off point, as these factors have a significant impact on the admission process.
