Medicine is the science and practice of caring for a patient, including diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, treatment, palliation, and promotion of health. Medicine comprises a wide range of healthcare methods that have evolved to preserve and restore health through sickness prevention and treatment.
Biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology are used in modern medicine to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease, typically through pharmaceuticals or surgery, but also through therapies as diverse as psychotherapy, external splints, and traction, medical devices, biologics, and ionizing radiation, among others.
The modular course structure is used at the University of Ghana. The University’s academic program has been organized into a semester system within this structure, and instruction takes the form of courses that are graded in terms of credits.

Every year, hundreds of people apply for the course, making it extremely competitive. Even if the candidate meets the minimum entry requirements, admission may not be guaranteed as other factors like grading would affect the admission.
Is D7 to F9 accepted to study the Bachelor of Medicine course at the University of Ghana?
As these factors have a significant impact on the admissions process, applicants should be thoroughly informed of the entry requirements and the cut-off point before enrolling in the University of Ghana’s medicine program. D7, E8, or F9 grades are not accepted for admission at the University of Ghana. The WAEC private test is required for candidates with D7 to F9 results in order to improve their D7, E8, or F9 topics.
