Torgbiga Adamah: Let’s work together to progress.

Torgbiga Adamah III, paramount Chief of Some Traditional Area, has urged the residents of the enclave to band together and pool their resources for the growth of the community.

He believed that because the government could not resolve all social issues on its own, it was necessary for citizens and all well-meaning people to work together to start self-help initiatives for the socioeconomic transformation of our societies.

Speaking during a vibrant durbar that celebrated the culmination of a week-long homecoming summit held in Agbozume, the traditional capital of Some in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region, was Torgbiga Adamah.

Additionally, Torgbiga Adamah III announced the creation of the Some Education Fund (SEF) and a scholarship program to assist talented students from the region in enrolling in tertiary education and returning home after their studies “to meaningfully contribute to the growth of Some.”

Several hundred locals as well as well-wishers from afar attended the homecoming summit.The summit was intended to gather locals and well-wishers together to discuss and map out the best course of action for the future development of the traditional area
