Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Minister of Education in his press briefing today 2nd June, 2023 stated that all SHS final year day students would be admitted as boarders in various Senior High Schools throughout the country.
He said this will serve as a measure to reduce the spread of the virus since a lot of students will not be coming in and out of the school compound as compared to having students coming from home to school every day.
The president in his 10th address assured to equip the teachers and students with PPEs such as nose masks to prevent transmission of the deadly virus from one person to the other.
