DESCRIPTION
The institution was established in 1965 as a women’s training college by the first president, Dr. Kwame
Nkrumah. It was later converted into a co-ed secondary school on August 15, 1970 as Duayaw Nkwanta High School.
The school was then converted into a Girls’ Secondary Model School in 2003 and renamed Serwaa Kesse Girls’ High School after the first Queen Mother of the traditional Duayaw-Nkwanta region.

To give quality education to the girl child at the second-cycle level, through a motivated staff, and in a conducive environment.
