The School Selection Portal will be opened by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for BECE 2022 Schools and Private Candidates to allow them to select their schools online for the 2023 placement.
The exercise will run from November 14 to 28, 2022.
In order to conduct the exercise quickly and efficiently, the Metro/City/Directors of Education should form teams of ICT teachers/Data Entry Clerks to assist the Examination Coordinators and Directors in making optional choices.
This will help prevent school entry errors. Candidates and parents/guardians will be invited to verify the accuracy of their selections before they are finalized.
Private BECE Candidates are to visit https://www.waecinternetsolution.org to select their Second Cycle Schools using their Index Number and Date of Birth as login ID and password respectively.
Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education are to ensure effective supervision and monitoring for the successful completion of the exercise.
