Projected Timetable for BECE 2023
BECE 2023 Projected Timetable Update: In our previous communication, we provided you with the starting date for the 2023 WAEC Basic Education Certificate Examination.
As promised, we will keep you informed once the final BECE timetable is released by WAEC. While we await the release of the 2023 BECE Final timetable, all 2023 BECE candidates can refer to our projected timetable for the exams below.
Based on the 2022 BECE Timetable, we anticipate that the 2023 BECE will commence on Monday, 7th of August, 2023, and conclude on Friday, 11th of August, 2023.
Please note that the main WAEC timetable may differ from the projected timetable presented below. We will update you with the final WAEC BECE 2023 Timetable once it is available.

Take note
- Each subject’s two papers should be written continuously in one sitting without a pause.
- Discrepancy between question papers and timetable time: If the time duration on the question paper is different from the one on the timetable, follow the time on the question paper.
- Addition time for candidates with vision and hearing challenges: Candidates with visual and hearing challenges will be given one and a half times (1 1/2) the time allocated to other candidates.
