Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery Eleyele, Ibadan: Basic Midwifery Admission Form

For admission to the Basic Midwifery program at the Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele (OYSCONME), Ibadan, applications are now being accepted from qualified individuals. Interested candidates can now access the online application. For additional details, continue reading.

In order to qualify as midwives and be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as a Registered Midwife, candidates must successfully complete this three-year (3) program, which begins in March 2023. (RM).

Entry requirements

possess WAEC/SSCE/GCE or NECO/SSCE/GCE with at least five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology across more than two (2) sittings.

Only those who have passed the necessary exams in no more than two (2) sittings from the same examination board are eligible to apply. At the time of entrance, he or she must be at least seventeen (17) years old.

You should be aware that Basic Midwifery is distinct from Post Basic Midwifery, which is reserved for Registered Nurses.

Any secondary school graduates (SSCE) may apply for the Basic Midwifery Form, while Registered Nurses may only apply for the Post Basic Midwifery Form.

The amount of Ten Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N10,500.00) must be paid online using this link.

After payment, the pin produced should be printed.

A link will lead you to the website where you finish the application procedure when the pin has been generated.

The applicant must print a copy of their photo ID card, which they must bring with them on the day of the exam.
