The NLNG Prize for Science is offering an opportunity to win up to $100,000. The prize is being awarded for outstanding innovations related to various themes such as Malaria Control, Energy for Stable Power Supply, Climate Change, and Sustainable Food Security.
Qualification Requirements for The Nigeria Prize for Science
Individuals who are scientists or innovators from anywhere in the world, including Nigerians and non-Nigerians, are welcome to participate and submit their works for the award. The focus is on the application of science to provide innovations that enhance healthcare therapy.
Those who are on the Advisory Board or Panel of Judges, or their immediate family members, are prohibited from submitting their works for the Science Prize during the year of their service and the following year.
Nigeria LNG employees or their family members are not qualified to participate in the prize.
Guidelines for Entering the NLNG Prize for Science
To submit an entry for the Nigeria LNG Prize for Science, all applicants must complete and submit their entries online via www.thenigeriaprizes.org.
The aim of the competition is to acknowledge the most relevant and effective solution to a given problem that benefits Nigeria. Therefore, collaborative works involving two or more persons are welcome. Each contestant is only permitted to submit one entry per competition year.
Entries not submitted by the specified deadline and according to the stated conditions will not be considered. The prize is awarded solely for excellence and no other reason.
The Deadline for Application
