Ugandan Applicants  Eligibility Requirements

Undergraduate Degree Program (Direct Entry from Schools):

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with at least 5 passes.
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least 2 principal passes.
• Applicants must also meet additional program-specific entry requirements.

Diploma Entry:

• Diploma holders must have passed with at least a credit.
• Applicants must also meet additional program-specific entry requirements.

Diploma Program:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with at least 5 passes.
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least 1 principal pass and two subsidiary passes.
• Applicants must also meet additional program-specific entry requirements.

Higher Education Access Certificate Program:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with at least 5 passes.
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least two subsidiary passes.
• Applicants must also meet additional program-specific entry requirements.

Mbarara University Application Portal

1. Visit the Mbarara University of Science and Technology’s main website.
2. Navigate to the “Admissions” section in the top menu list.
3. Click on “How to Apply” to access the Application Portal.

Creating an account on the Mbarara University of Science and Technology Admission Portal:

1. Go to the Admission Portal login page.
2. Click on the “Sign up now” button.
3. Fill out the required forms.
4. Click on “Sign up” to complete the process.

Logging in to the Mbarara University of Science and Technology Admission Portal:

1. Access the Admission Portal login page.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Click on the “Login” button to proceed.

Resetting your Mbarara University of Science and Technology Admission Portal password:

1. Go to the Admission Portal login page.
2. Click on the “Forgot password” button.
3. Choose one of the provided recovery options to regain access to your account.
